Spread Goodness Day is a global day of goodness celebrated on March 11, 2022. The Fire Station Cannabis Co. encouraged employees company-wide to go out and make a positive impact in their community in the week leading up to this event.
Between the dates of March 4 and March 11, 2022, staff members were encouraged to do good in their community. Employees who participated chose activities such as helping fellow coworkers, teaching a drum class, baking cookies for elders, creating greeting cards for veterans and strangers, and driving elders to the store for groceries. When asked why participating in Spread Goodness Day is important to him, Munising General Manager James said, “Even the smallest things can make the big things look small. That’s why I love that Anna created Spread Goodness day. It’s about the little things in life that make a huge difference.”
Employee participation in Spread Goodness Day is a part of TFS Cares, a program where The Fire Station gives back to the communities where it operates through community engagement, sustainability, social equity, and philanthropy.
