Service Animals
A service animal is not a pet. According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as “any animal individually trained to work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including, but not limited to, guiding individuals with impaired vision, alerting individuals to an impending seizure or protecting individuals during one, and alerting individuals who are hearing impaired to intruders, or pulling a wheelchair and fetching dropped items.”
A person with a disability uses a service animal as an auxiliary aid. In compliance with the ADA, service animals are welcome in all buildings on company property and may attend any class, meeting or other event. The service animal is allowed to accompany their owner in all parts of the building that the owner is permitted to be in (all customer areas). There may be an exception to certain areas. Service animals must be well behaved or will be asked to leave the building!

Cannabis 101
THC is the psychoactive compound found within the cannabis flower. THC causes the “high” in the cannabis plant. If you are unsure if you should use cannabis, please ask your doctor.
CBD is the second most common compound found in the cannabis flower. Unlike THC, CBD is non-intoxicating and will not get you high. If you are unsure if your medical condition can benefit from CBD, ask your doctor.
Terpenes are compounds found within the cannabis flower that give it its unique smell and flavor. Terpenes are not only found in cannabis. Many different flowers and fruits have terpenes.
CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-intoxicating compound produced by the cannabis plant that is popularly used for a variety of medical applications including pain, anxiety, and seizures.
CBN (cannabinol) is a non-intoxicating compound that is best known as the cannabinoid created when THC ages.
CBG (cannabigerol) is a minor, non-intoxicating, cannabinoid since it manifests in trace amounts in most strains.

Each plant type has a different chemical composition which results in a different type of “high” for the consumer.
Indicas give more of a body high – think relaxation and sleepiness.
Sativas are the opposite of indicas, and give more of an energetic and sociable high.
Hybrids are a mix of both indica and sativa and can give both types of high, depending on the chemical composition of the flower. Most plants are now hybrids due to breeding and that’s why you might see “sativa-dominant” or “indica-dominant.”
