The Fire Station sponsored and participated in the 2nd Annual Kick Cancer kickball tournament on June 3-4, 2022. The tournament raised over $10,500 for Cancer Care of Marquette County and the patients that they serve.
Event coordinator, Elletta Weber, stated about the event, “It’s important to me to raise money for an organization that helps curb the financial burden of someone going through cancer treatment so they can focus on their health.”

The event organizers also put on a Stick It To Cancer hockey tournament in the fall, which TFS sponsored in 2021. This year’s tournament will take place at Lakeview Arena in Marquette, Michigan on September 23-25, 2022.
