“The past 12 months has been a crazy roller coaster of injuries for me.
On December 4, 2021, I broke my neck, which has caused a massive amount of pain. Then, in March 2022, I broke my kneecap and tore my ACL. My latest injury, which is probably my worst of all, happened on October 15, 2022. My hand went down a 10″ carving knife that was brand new and cut all of the tendons and nerves in all of my fingers. That has caused me to lose feeling and mobility in my dominant hand.
Of course it has caused pain physically, but the one thing I was not expecting is the mental aspect and what it does to you not being able to use your dominant hand.
I am definitely not a person that likes to take prescription medication from hospitals. So for the past year, I have used products from The Fire Station Cannabis Company not only to assist in relieving my pain, but also to help with my mental state during this time. I have personally found that marijuana, whether it is in flower form, concentrate, or edible, has had a greater benefit than any prescription a doctor might give me. I just had 2 major reconstructive surgeries on my hand, and marijuana has been a big part of my recovery process. Thankfully there are dispensaries that care enough about people to help in this way.
