Why should I donate?
As the government shutdown enters its second month, 42 million Americans who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, did not receive benefits on Nov. 1. After a judge ruled that officials must keep the country’s largest anti-hunger program funded during the shutdown, the current administration said Americans in need will only receive a portion of their usual benefits with delays expected.
