What are THC Drinks?
THC drinks are cannabis-infused beverages. Drinks are a relatively newer alternative to smoking, vaping, or traditional edibles like gummies and chocolates.
Traditional edibles are digested and processed by the liver which takes 45 minutes, and sometimes up to two hours, to kick in. Many THC drinks are made with a technology called nanoemulsification. This process breaks down THC into tiny, water-soluble particles, allowing for faster absorption into the bloodstream. This means you can often feel the effects in as little as 15-30 minutes.
Weed drinks come in a variety of forms, including sodas, teas, juices and seltzers. The Fire Station also sells dissolvable mixes, syrups and tinctures, which can be used to make cannabis-infused drinks with a dose that’s just right for you. Some options include other cannabinoids like CBD to balance the effects of the THC.
THC drinks can be found in a variety of potencies. While one drink could contain 10 mg of THC in the whole can, another could contain 100 mg. It’s important to check the dosage and remember to start low and go slow when learning your personal tolerance.
