The Fire Station’s tenth and largest U.P. location is officially open in Ironwood, Michigan! This location is the second TFS store to be built from the ground up, allowing customers to have a completely authentic experience.
The Ironwood location is conveniently located at 507 N. Lake Street, and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST to serve customers, ensuring an unparalleled shopping experience. Customers can shop in-store, or on-the-go by placing an order online and picking up curbside, allowing for easy access to their favorite cannabis products without leaving the comfort of their vehicle.
As with all TFS locations, Ironwood boasts a unique mural. This custom design ties together multiple TFS locations with its welcoming color palette and branded elements.
Prior to opening, the TFS Ironwood staff got their hands dirty during a local community clean up by assisting a local non-profit, the Sisu Dirt Crew, with a spring clean up of the Copper Peak area in early May. The Fire Station has also supported a number of local Ironwood events, including Festival Ironwood, Pride UP and the upcoming Copper Peak Trails Fest.

What do you feel sets The Fire Station Apart from other local stores?
There are two big things that set us apart from the other cannabis retailers in town. The first thing is our amazing staff! The Ironwood fire fam is very welcoming, energetic and customer centered. Every customer is incredibly important and that is how they are treated when they shop with us. The second is the size and functionality of our budroom. When customers walk in, they are greeted by a well organized and spacious environment stocked with a variety of products not available at the other shops. The drawer display bars are unique in Ironwood as well. We are able to showcase not only our concentrates, but all of our pre-rolls.
Do you have any advice for someone who's never shopped at a cannabis retailer?
My advice to anyone who has never shopped in a cannabis retailer would be ask all of your questions! You’re amongst people who want to make sure you get the exact high you are looking for. The more information we have, the better we can serve you!
Why did you choose to work in the cannabis industry?
I transitioned into the cannabis industry fairly seamlessly. My background is retail pharmacy management. There are a lot of similarities between the two industries, especially with compliance and upholding regulations. I made the decision to enter this rapidly growing industry because it offered the opportunity for me to learn new things in an upbeat environment. It has been so refreshing to enjoy a career as much as I have been enjoying being the Ironwood GM! It’s awesome!
What makes the tfs ironwood location unique?
The Ironwood location is unique amongst TFS because we’re the newest and largest store. We have a few bells and whistles that the other stores don’t have like the concentrate bars. [However], all of the TFS locations are unique and awesome in their own way!
