Navigating higher education is a challenge for anyone, but as a first-generation college student, Tiffany had to build her own roadmap.
"I initially had no idea what college would be like academically—from navigating classes and professors to understanding lab work."
After transferring to LSSU, she found her stride in their close-knit community. By joining the Cannabis Club, she gained the hands-on experience and networking opportunities that defined her senior year. For Tiffany, “doing college” wasn’t just about the books; it was about finding the balance between rigorous lab work and the social growth that shaped her identity.
