November welcomes the start of Indigenous People’s Month, a time to honor the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous communities within the Upper Peninsula. At The Fire Station, we are proud to be part of a unique partnership with the Hannahville Tribe and foster connections with members of other local tribes. These connections allow us to cultivate a deeper understanding and respect for the land, the plant, and the people who have lived harmoniously with both for generations.
Together, let’s celebrate in the spirit of collaboration and respect that defines our relationship with our Indigenous partners, making this a truly special month for all of us.
