Meet Corey
Corey Geyser is a Lead Budtender at The Fire Station Munising, and has worked there for just under two years. Prior to this, Corey spent four years in the Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer.
In this article, we get to know Corey and hear his thoughts on working in the cannabis industry and his unique perspective as a veteran.
Working at The Fire Station
“My favorite thing about working in the cannabis industry is being able to offer my personal knowledge and experiences on products that have worked for me personally to hopefully aid them in finding some stress relief, pain management, or just having a good time!”
“I find a common misconception I come across is that many people think we take classes and courses to obtain a job in the cannabis industry. While having a personal knowledge and interest does help, it is not a requirement!”
“I did not expect to be involved with one of the larger growing and competitive businesses in the U.P. and the challenges along the way. As well as how many products they actually have out there for consumption!”
