New to The Fire Station, or have never shopped in store with us? In this article, we give you an idea of what it’s like to shop in store with us.
Our hours vary by location, but we’re open every day of the week for those who are 21 years or older with a valid government issued photo ID. Our Negaunee location is open to medical customers as well, anyone 18 years or older with a valid medical marijuana card.
Keep in mind, we are cash-only, so credit/debit cards and personal checks are not accepted. Forgot cash? Don’t worry – all of our locations have ATMs.

Entering our reception area
When you enter our store, you’ll first enter the reception area and be greeted by our receptionist. Our receptionist will ask you for your contact information and a valid government issued photo ID.
Depending on how many people are in the budroom, you may have a short wait in the reception area until you are called back by a budtender. Each establishment will have an occupancy limit in the budroom, so you can come to the store knowing it won’t be overly crowded when you get there!
What’s a budroom? The budroom is a secure location in our store that contains all of our cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, vaporizers, edibles, pre-rolls, and topicals. All of our non-cannabis products are also in the budroom, including CBD and accessories.
Exploring the budroom
As soon as we have availability in the budroom, a budtender will open the door and welcome you back. This budtender is dedicated to you and will be there throughout your shopping experience to answer any questions you may have and to help you find what you’re looking for. If you’re new to cannabis, our budtenders will be your greatest resource.
Want to shop for your best value? Ask your budtender about our current deals and promotions – if they haven’t already told you about them, that is!
You can always expect to be treated with the best customer service. It is our policy to go above and beyond for our customers and we take that seriously every day.
Checking out with your budtender
When you’ve decided on your items, you can follow your budtender to the checkout, where they will ring up your products, apply discounts, and take payment.
Wondering how much you can purchase in one trip? Please keep in mind the state’s purchasing limits; Under the MMFLA, for a registered qualifying patient, an amount of marihuana product that does not, in total, exceed 2.5 ounces of marihuana or marihuana equivalent per day. A marihuana retailer, under the MRTMA, is prohibited from making a sale or transferring marihuana to an adult 21 years of age or older in a single transaction that exceeds 2.5 ounces. Not more than 15 grams of marihuana may be in the form of marihuana concentrate.
Save money on every purchase. We encourage all of our customers to set up a loyalty account so that they can earn points for every dollar they spend.
